Gur-Emir mausoleum – the burial place of the Great Amir Temur and his dynasty (XIV-XV c.).
Rukhobod mausoleum – the tombs of Sheikh Burkhaniddin Sogarji and his family are found in this mausoleum. According to legends under the domes there is a box with 7 hair of Prophet Mokhammed (XIV c.).
Reghistan square – the main square of Samarkand. It consists of Madrassah Ulugbek (XV c.), Madrassah Sherdor (XVII c.) and Madrassah Tilla Kori) (XVII c.).
LUNCH AT THE NATIONAL RESTAURANT. After lunch continues sightseeing:
Bibi Khanum mosque – was named for the honour of the eldest wife of Great Timur (XIV c.).
Siyab local bazaar – taste the best bread and fruits of Samarkand.
The mosque of Khazrati Khizr – the oldest mosque in Central Asia.
Shakhi-Zinda necropolises – which means “The Living King” (XI-XII c.).
Ulugbek observatory – The biggest observatory was built by Ulugbek (XVc.).
